Behaviour Reward System

The school has a behaviour management system that supports behaviour in a positive way. All students are set behaviour targets on a termly basis.

In lessons students receive points that reflect their behaviour and learning in lessons. These points are added up at the end of each day and if they have achieved an acceptable score of 35 they will have earned themselves a healthy tuck roll for the following days break.  In turn the 5 daily scores are then given an overall percentage which will give the student a position in school.  At the end of the week on a Friday afternoon the students will be offered activities such as;  the games arcade, boxing, football, film club, computers, cooking etc. However, each activity has a limited number of places available. The higher their position in school means that they get first choice of the activity they would like to do.
